Leadership Philosophy
Leadership, to me, is about service — empowering others, fostering inclusion, and creating lasting impact through collaboration. From leading student organizations to mentoring peers and giving back to my community, I’ve learned that every role, big or small, is an opportunity to uplift others and build something meaningful together.

Community Engagement and Volunteerism
Broward College Pantry – Volunteered to assist students experiencing food insecurity, helping organise donations and distribute essential supplies.
Let’s Be Compassionate Foundation for the Homeless – Supported local outreach events providing meals, hygiene items, and clothing for individuals in need.
Broward Mission Shelter – Donated over 15 bags of clothes, toys, and household items to support families in transition.
Mirror Lake Elementary School – After-School Girls Program – Created a space for young girls to explore creativity, self-confidence, and collaboration through hands-on activities.
Career Fair and Construction Career Days – Represented FIU and ASCE to encourage students to pursue careers in civil engineering.
Cultural and Global Initiatives
AAVE Letters to Venezuela Project – Organized a campaign where FIU students wrote heartfelt letters to children in Venezuela, promoting hope and connection across borders.
Donation Drives – Coordinated clothing and supply donations for Venezuelan families affected by economic hardship.
Hispanic Heritage Month Committee (FIU) – Collaborated with student leaders and staff to host events celebrating culture, community, and representation in engineering.
Mentorship and Student Advocacy
Transfer2Transfer Mentor (FIU Student Affairs) – Guide transfer students through academic and social adjustment within FIU’s College of Engineering.
Panther Community Action Board Member (2025–2026) – Advocate for service initiatives and community partnerships that strengthen FIU’s impact across South Florida.
